Rare Brookite Included Quartz with Epidote Crystals on Matrix – 119g Collector Specimen

A striking and unusual combination piece featuring lustrous brookite crystals trapped inside a clear quartz point, perched on a bed of vibrant olive-green epidote crystals. This is a 3-mineral association piece that serious collectors look for.

Specimen Details:
• Minerals: Brookite crystals included in Quartz, with Epidote crystals on Matrix • Origin: Kharan District, Balochistan, Pakistan – famous for brookite + epidote combos
• Weight: 119 grams / 4.2 oz
• Size: 67 x 35 x 60 mm / 2.64 x 1.38 x 2.36 inches
• Formation: A single, well-formed quartz point with excellent clarity rises from a matrix rich with terminated epidote crystals. Inside the quartz, you can clearly see sharp, reddish-brown to black brookite blades frozen in time. Several epidote crystals also penetrate the base of the quartz.
• Condition: 100% natural, untreated. The quartz point is intact with good luster. Matrix is stable. Natural contact points present.
Why this piece is special:
1. Brookite: One of the three polymorphs of TiOâ‚‚. Finding gemmy brookite crystals inside quartz is uncommon. The blades in this piece have great metallic luster and color.
2. Epidote: The pistachio-green epidote crystals on the matrix have nice termination and color saturation. Epidote is prized by mineral collectors and also known metaphysically as the “attraction stone.”
3. Aesthetic: The contrast is incredible – water-clear quartz, dark metallic brookite, and bright green epidote. It displays beautifully from all angles and sits upright on its own.
This is an old-stock Pakistan piece from Kharan. Combinations like this are not common on the market. Perfect for advanced mineral collectors, crystal healers working with manifestation and grounding energy, or as a unique display specimen.
