Natural Zagi Mountain Rutilated Quartz Point – 87g Collector Specimen

High-luster rutilated quartz point from the famous Zagi Mountain, Pakistan. This crystal has excellent clarity and is loaded with fine black to bronze rutile needles throughout, giving it serious depth and flash.

Specimen Details:
• Origin: Zagi Mountain, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan – the type locality for this material
• Weight: 87 grams / 3.07 oz
• Size: 59 x 43 x 29 mm / 2.32 x 1.69 x 1.14 inches
• Formation: Single terminated quartz point with sharp faces and good luster • Inclusions: Dense internal growth of black and dark bronze rutile needles. Also shows a light smoky tone and some internal veiling that gives it character. You’ll see both chaotic sprays and parallel rutile growth.
• Clarity: Good transparency in the upper portion with excellent “window” into the rutile structure
• Condition: 100% natural, untreated. The termination is intact with no damage. Natural contacted base where it grew.
